GM发动机点火线圈及分电器检查 By Bill Hack

一,首先,检查一下点火线圈(不要接电)

1.检查B+ 或者C- 与接地之间的电阻,应该为无穷大

2.检查B+或者C-之间的电阻,读数应该为0(大约0.4欧姆)

3.检查B+或者C-的到中间高压输出之间的电阻,读数应该为大约8000欧姆,并且不应该为无穷大。

如果1-3检查过后,不符合上述描述不正常,更换线圈再试。(不符的话判断为线圈故障)

二,第二步,检查下分电器

1.接好点火线圈,万用表切到电压档,检查线束的灰色接口的pin B至点火线圈的上部接口(灰色和紫色线),

   B(紫色)的电压是否高于12v  如果是,转到第2步,如果否,则检查点火线圈的线束故障,保险丝等等。

2.在发动机点火开启启动的情况下,按1方式检查,B是否高于10V?如果是,则转到第3

3.接好点火线圈,检查pin A(粉色)的分电器线束的两路pin 是否高于12V

如果是,转到第4步,如果否,则更换分电器线路

4.在发动机点火开启启动情况下重复第3步,A出是否高于10V?如果是转到第5

5.检查连接分电器的 线圈上的黑色接口的pinA(棕色线)接 与分电器的pinB(棕色)的2pin之间的电阻,是否少于0.5欧姆?

如果是,则更换分电器,如果否,则可能是分电器线路的2pin的线路故障。

First – check the coil independently following these steps

Ignition Coil Testing

1. Connect ohmmeter between “B+” or “C-” terminals and ground (coil bracket). On high scale, reading should be infinite (test 1, figure 6-26).

2. Connect ohmmeter between “B+” and “C-” terminals. On low scale, reading should be nearly zero (approximately 0.4 ohm) (test 2, figure 6-26).

3. Connect ohmmeter between “B+” or “C-” terminals and coil high-voltage tower. On high scale, reading should be approximately 8000 ohms. Reading should not be infinite (test 3, figure 6-26).

 

If test results  from steps 1-3 above are  out of spec- replace coil

 

 

Second  – check the power to the distributor following these steps

 

1.       With the ignition turned on check for voltage at pin “B” of grey connector of the harness going to the top of the ignition coil (grey and purple wires).  Is the voltage on pin “B” ( Purple wire) greater than 12 volts? Yes- go to step 2.  No – repair wiring to ignition coil, check for wiring issues, blown fuse bad relay etc..

2.       Repeat above test with the engine cranking.  Is there greater than 10 volts on pin “B” ( Purple wire) while cranking?  Yes – go to step 3-  No – repair wiring issue to coil power, check that  all fuses and relays are operational maintain power while cranking.

3.       With the ignition turned on, check for voltage at pin “A” ( Pink Wire) of the 2 pin connector on the distributor wiring harness.  Is there 12 volts or greater  on Pin “A” (Pink Wire) ?   If yes go to step 4-  No, repair or replace faulty distributor wiring harness

4.       Repeat above test with the engine cranking.  Is there greater than 10 volts at pin “A” ( Pink Wire) while cranking?  Yes – go to step 5-  No – repair wiring issue to coil power, check that  all fuses and relays are operational maintain power while cranking.

5.       Check the continuity of the  distributor harness between pin “A” ( Brown Wire) of the black connector at the coil and pin ”B” ( Brown Wire)  of the 2 pin connector at the distributor.   Is the resistance less than .5 ohm?   Yes-  replace the distributor.   No – replace or repair wiring issue in the 2 pin distributor wiring harness.
